United States Air National Guard has selected Medicor Imaging's MiPACS Dental Enterprise Solution as their dental PACS provider. Medicor Imaging has worked extensively with the United States Air National Guard and began deploying Air National Guard sites in May 2009. There are 91 Air National Guard units across the country. Engineers from Medicor are training users onsite during deployment. MiPACS integrates with the ANG's existing x-ray capture hardware, no matter which vendor provided it. All ANG images are stored on a central server, and are accessible from any ANG unit location in the country, as well as all Air Force and Air Force Reserve dental clinics worldwide. All communication between bases is performed to the specifications of the DICOM Standard.
