Medicor Imaging featured as PACS Provider for the American Dental Association's DICOM Standards Committee's Interoperability Demonstration

MiPACS Powers DICOM Interoperability Demo at ADA Annual Session 2008

Medicor Imaging actively participates in the ADA Standards Committee for Dental Informatics Working Group 12.1: DICOM. Medicor Imaging was approached by the SCDI WG 12.1 to provide the PACS server for the ADA Annual Session which was held in San Antonio, TX in 2008. The Live Operatory Center in the exhibition hall featured cone-beam CT devices from six different manufacturers, all of which stored images to the MiPACS Storage Server onsite at the DICOM Standards Committee booth. MiPACS Storage Server featured a central archive at demonstration booth for interoperability. The point was to demonstrate the interoperability of all medical/dental devices on a network as long as they use the DICOM standard of communication with a PACS server (MiPACS Storage Server).
